Did you know that Office 365 is the cloud service most used?

The identity management service in the cloud Okta has released today its first report Okta Business @ Work Report, which analyzes how their customers use other products in the cloud.

Among the conclusions of the report, it noted that Office 365 was the most cloud service used so far this year, followed by Salesforce and Box.

The top 10 cloud services most used by Okta are completed by Google Apps, Concur, Amazon Web Services, Zendesk, Dropbox, LinkedIn and GoDaddy, reports TechCrunch. 

Okta has continued to use cloud applications from 2012 and during most of that time, Salesforce has remained strong in the first position of usage statistics, but in the last year Office 365 has not stopped rising, so that it has finally overcome.

The report also records the growth in the use of applications in the last trimester. In this case, Slack, an application increasingly popular corporate messaging, led growth with an increase of 50%. PagerDuty, a tool for information management IT incidents, was second with a growth of 25.5%, and online survey service SurveyMonkey third with 23.5%.

As to the average number of cloud applications used by 2,500 customers Okta analyzed, ranges between 11 and 16, regardless of company size.
